The minor consent bill (S151) was falsely named transparency” and introduced late in the session (April 2024 – the day after we hosted Kennedy and Siri at Dartmouth College). It includes a section that proposes to open access to children age 12+ for vaccination, expressly without parental consent.
The committee heard mostly from medical trade association lobbyists and physicians associated with the AAP and federally-funded health centers in support of the approach.
