Researchers from Colombia University decided to look into consumer allegations that influenza vaccination was causing “the flu”. They investigated the risk of acute respiratory illness after influenza vaccination and found that among children, there was an increase in the hazard of acute respiratory illness in vaccinated compared to unvaccinated children.
